HealtheKnowledge, the online learning portal of the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Network, offers more than 100 courses developed by subject matter experts and behavioral health researchers from across the country. All course content shares the latest research and evidence-based practices that promote successful treatment outcomes.
All HealtheKnowledge courses are self-paced and available on demand, 24/7. Course content is free, and Continuing Education Units are available for $5 per credit hour.
HealtheKnowledge is continually updated with new courses in response to pressing behavioral health issues such as the opioid crisis and suicide prevention. For example:
- Understanding Substance Use Disorder Basics is a two-hours self-paced course that provides an overview of substance use disorders and treatment for health professionals and practitioners who do not have a background in addictions.
- Suicide Prevention: Suicide Prevention and Response for K-12 Populations was developed in response to the alarming increase in suicide among young people.
