The Wisconsin Rural Opioid and Stimulant Engagement (WIROSE) develops and disseminates training and technical assistance for rural communities to address opioid issues.

WIROSE is a project of  the Division of Extension at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in partnership with the School of Medicine and Public Health, the School of Human Ecology, and the Great Lakes Addiction, Mental Health, and Prevention Technology Transfer Centers based at the College of Engineering.

WIROSE is funded through a Rural Opioid Technical Assistance grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
